Easily Customizable

On many occasions, you will find that there are some specific areas where you want to tweak your project management system to fit your specific management requirements. Realizing this we have created an interface that allows you to enhance the OneBundle Project tool using your environment settings.

Custom Fields: There can be instances when a project requires more data fields apart from default text fields in a screen. In such cases, Custom Fields screen can be used to add user defined text fields into Project, Tasks and Bugs screen.

Email Notification: You can set up email notifications to alert users for any change in various sections of the program like Tasks, Bugs, Task Notes, Bug Notes, Project Notes, Login Request Accept, Login Request Decline, Shared Search, and Timesheet Notification. Default E-Mail settings can be configured using project level notification and Organization wide E-Mail Settings.

Logo Settings: The logos present in the Home page and the application can be changed according to your requirement. This is made possible by using organization wide logo settings in Administration module. The logo present at top left corner of the application can be customized at various levels as follows: customer-level, user-level, and finally organization-wide.

New Features Released

The latest release of OneBundle Project has the following new features:

Workflow implementation: You can now customize whether a person in a project has permission to edit or delete a task or bug in a particular status. For example, you can tell the system that only the tester can delete a bug. You can also specify which statuses a task/bug in a particular status can be changed to and who can change it. For example, you can specify that an item in “Not Fixed” status cannot be directly “Closed” – it has to be marked as Fixed first.

Public web service API: As long you have authorized access, you can now write a Windows application or another Web application, pull data from OneBundle Project (OBP) and display it as you need. You can also add tasks, bugs and timesheet entries. The API is available on request from OBP users

Detailed Lifecycle: The new Lifecycle tab shows you the entire structure of the project – now including the tasks with Start and End Times. This will allow you to see your project at a single glance. This feature will be enhanced and merged with the Gantt Chart in future so that you have better interactivity.

Keeping it Simple

As a manager, if you want real-time data about the state of your projects, it is necessary for your development team to input them easily or have the system collect or report on data easily.

We had the same thoughts when we designed OneBundle Project. We wanted to make it as easy for our developers to use as possible. The default behavior of our system is to collect the minimum information from developers thus making their life easy.

For example, screens remember previous values input by the team member in List and New screens, thus reducing typing or clicking. A tester could stay in one single screen all day and keep adding bugs from there, and not have to keep selecting the same values over and over again.
